Overview

The Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS) program builds on CDCP and develops deeper technical understanding of data center design and operations. It is designed for professionals who need to evaluate existing facilities, review proposed technical solutions and make informed decisions about data center infrastructure in increasingly demanding environments, including high-compute environments.

What It Covers

CDCS develops deeper knowledge of mission-critical facility infrastructure, with particular emphasis on availability, capacity, safety, efficiency, power and cooling. The program includes engineering-level calculations and technical evaluation used to assess proposed or existing infrastructure solutions. EPI positions the program for professionals who need to evaluate data center designs and determine whether proposed technical implementations are appropriate and effective.

Stated Prerequisites

Participants must hold a valid Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) certificate at the time they pass the CDCS examination.
